Housing Society
About IECHS
DR. MAQBOOL AHMAD SHAHID, Director INMOL Hospital along with his colleagues decided in 1988 to have a housing society for the employees. INMOL Employee Cooperative Housing society – IECHS was established in 1989. It was registered in Punjab Cooperative Department on 25th January, 1989. Land measuring 1069 Kanals was acquired for this purpose near moaza Dullu Khurd, Lahore. The services of M/s NESPAK were hired to plan layout of this society. NESPAK planned this society in 5-different blocks like A, B, C, D, E & F. Minimum road size of society is 40ft. Sufficient space was allocated for basic amenities.
Another piece of land measuring 69 kanals and 10 marlas was purchased to make extension in society in the year 2006. This land was developed as G-Block and allotted to existing and new members on installments. The work of Roads, Sewerage and water supply lines of G-Block completed in the year 2009.
Few acres of land was sold to meet development expenses. Now total land of society is 1092 kanals approx.
DEVELOPMENT HISTORY
SEWERAGE:
NOC for sewerage was obtained from Union Council on 01.09.1994.
INFRASTRUCTURAL WORK:
Infrastructural work like water supply system, sewerage system, tube well and roads etc started in the year 1996 and completed in the year 2004.
SUI GAS:
Application was submitted to SNGPL in the year 1999. SNGPL issued Demand Notice in the year 2009. This Demand Notice was not paid by society. SNGPL issued revised Demand Notice in the year 2010. This was also not paid by the society.
DISPOSAL STATION:
Work on disposal station started in the year 2018 and civil work completed in the year 2019.
PARKS:
Development work of parks started in the year 2019.
BOUNDARY WALL:
The work on boundary wall of society was startd n the year 2005 and completed in the year 2006.
OVERHEAD WATER TANK:
The work for Overhead Water tank started in the year 2005 and completed in the year 2006.
ELECTRICITY:
LESCO approved design for internal and external electrification from KOT LAKHPAT Grid Station to society in the year 2004. Due to problem of Right of Way, revised design was approved by LESCO from KAHNA Grid Station in the year 2009. Necessary Demand Notice was paid. Work for external electrification was started by LESCO Contractor but stopped due to ‘Right of Way’ problem. Work for execution of internal electrification started in the year 2014 and completed in the year 2019. LESCO energized internal electrification with a load of 65kW from THEATRE Grid Station in the year 2020.
